• Our disinfection research primarily investigates the potential of nanomaterials to inactivate or kill bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens. This research explores the mechanisms by which nanomaterials can disrupt microbial membranes, induce oxidative stress, or otherwise interfere with pathogen viability. The findings can inform the development of new disinfection technologies for water treatment, surface sanitation, and healthcare applications.
